RJ11 & RJ22 Modular Jack Connector

  • RJ11 is the most commonly recognized registered jack, a standardized telecommunication network interface for connecting voice and data equipment to a telecommunications carrier and is found in homes and offices in most countries for single-line telephones.
  • This modular jack connector is wired for one analog telephone line, using the centre 2 contacts of 6 available positions (6P2C). It is available in right angle surface mount configuration.
  • RJ11 is specified with shields to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency signals.
  • RJ22, RJ9, RJ10: 4P4C or 4P2C, for telephone handsets. Since telephone handsets do not connect directly to the public network, they have no registered jack code.
